Every Child Has Rights

It was declared by the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which in 2019 celebrates its 30th anniversary. Children have rights along with adults - the right to health services, education, protection and equal opportunities for each child.

What is the Convention on the Rights of the Child?

The Convention on the Rights of the Child is the most important document that protects children and their rights. It was adopted by the UN General Assembly 30 years ago, on November 20, 1989. The Сonvention includes 54 articles that explain the fundamental rights of the younger generation: civil, political, social and cultural rights. Every child has equal rights, regardless of nationality, gender, religion or abilities.
