A solemn ceremony of Memorial Cancellation of the UNICEF postage stamp

On December 8, 2016, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus held a solemn ceremony of Memorial Cancellation of the postage stamp of the Republic of Belarus, which was timed to the 70^th anniversary of the UN Children's Fund (UNICEF).

This year, apart from the UNICEF 70^th anniversary, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Belarus marks decades of fruitful partnership with the Republic of Belarus. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a ceremony of Memorial Cancellation of the UNICEF-70 postage stamp, as well as the opening of the exhibition dedicated to the UNICEF activities around the world.

70^th anniversary is a good occasion to note the achievements of UNICEF together with its reliable partners. It is also a reminder about the things that have to be done to ensure that rights of every child are respected.
