For a second year UNICEF supports Friendship Without Borders International Youth Forum, which is happening at National Children's Camp Zubrenok from June 28 to July 2 this year.
On June 29, on the second day of the forum, young people from 15 countries of the world, from Venezuela to China, met Natalia Pshenichnaya, the head of the department for youth affairs of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Nadezhda Onufrieva, the director of the National Children's Educational and Health Center “Zubrenok” and Victoria Lozyuk, UNICEF Youth and Adolescents' Development and HIV/AIDS Specialist. The format of the meeting allowed the participants of the forum to engage in an active dialogue on the issues of youth policy, interaction with various international structures, children and youth cooperation. Forum participants received answers to their questions such as: which international projects for youth are being implemented in Belarus and how to become their participants, which programs for youth exchange they can take part in, how the state structures interact with UNICEF and other international organizations.
After the meet-and-greet, the participants of the forum palyed a game-quest about UNICEF activities and took part in the seminar "Social inclusion of adolescents from the most vulnerable groups in the decision-making processes".
A year ago UNICEF supported the opening of the Center for Innovation and Partnership at NCC Zubrenok, which is aimed at expanding international cooperation among adolescents and young people.
The development of international cooperation and the exchange of experience between adolescents and young people from different countries is a priority for UNICEF.
