On 1 September in Novogrudok and 9 September in Minsk, UNICEF awarded the signs of honour “Child Friendly City” to the city authorities.

On April 28, UNICEF Belarus and the Ministry of Education conducted a Coordination Council Meeting and congratulated Minsk, Baranovichi and Navahrudak with obtaining the honorable status of a Child Friendly City.
