Andrew Parker (New Zealand), the hot-air balloon pilot and creator of the Flying High For Kids project, visited Minsk in the framework of the Air Sports Festival that took place in Minsk on July 17-19, 2015. Andrew is performing an overland hot air ballooning journey through more than 100 countries and lasting for a four-and-a-half year.

MINSK, 27 May 2015: UNICEF and the European Union presented innovative Child Rights Toolkit: Integrating Child Rights in Development Cooperation providing practical guidance on how to apply a rights-based, child-focused approach to development programming, budgeting, policy-making, and law-making.

Полоцку присвоен статус «Город, дружественный детям»

Полоцк стал шестым городом Беларуси, который получил статус «Город, дружественный детям». В принятии решения участвовали представители Детского Фонда ООН (ЮНИСЕФ), различных министерств Беларуси и депутатского корпуса, а также системы здравоохранения, внешкольной работы, общественных объединений. Торжественное вручение сертификата запланировано на 13 ноября, когда в Полоцке пройдет молодежный форум в формате 3D «Делаем добрые дела».

Брест – пятый в Беларуси «Город, дружественный детям»

26 июня 2014 года город Брест был награжден почетным званием «Город, дружественный детям» в рамках одноименной глобальной инициативы ЮНИСЕФ.
