Children's rights in terms of sustainable development goals: UNICEF participated in a panel discussion at the UN Office in Geneva
From February 25 to March 22, Geneva hosts the 40th session of the UN Human Rights Council. The session focuses not only adults but also children. An interactive panel discussion on February 26 was dedicated to the rights of children and adolescents. The event was initiated by Belarus and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Belarus held a workshop on volunteers' engagement
For more than 70 years, UNICEF has been working for the benefit of every child. Volunteers - active and passionate young people - help us in this. More than 9,000 volunteers will work this summer at the II European Games in Minsk. UNICEF in Belarus together with the Directorate of the Games held a 2-day workshop on involving young people in volunteering activities.

International Day of Peace is marked by poetry contest in Belarus
September 21 is marked as an International Day of Peace. On the eve of the holiday the Belarusian Peace Fund hosted the grand award ceremony bringing together participants from all the corners of the country and summed up the nationwide poetry contest “Happiness is living in a peaceful country!”.
