From February 25 to March 22, Geneva hosts the 40th session of the UN Human Rights Council. The session focuses not only adults but also children. An interactive panel discussion on February 26 was dedicated to the rights of children and adolescents. The event was initiated by Belarus and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

International Day of Peace is marked by poetry contest in Belarus
September 21 is marked as an International Day of Peace. On the eve of the holiday the Belarusian Peace Fund hosted the grand award ceremony bringing together participants from all the corners of the country and summed up the nationwide poetry contest “Happiness is living in a peaceful country!”.
