External Consultant(s) Responsible for the Examination of CSOs Working on the Child Rights Area

UNICEF in Belarus is looking for External Consultant(s) Responsible for the Examination of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) Working on the Child Rights Area and Identifying Potential Linkages with the UNICEF Country Programme in Belarus.

The purpose of the consultancy is to provide technical expertise to UNICEF in Belarus in the examination of the CSOs working in the area of child rights in Belarus, determining the level of capacities among CSOs and grassroots groups (parents groups, youth groups, etc.), existing gaps and needs and improving the ability of CSOs and grassroots groups for partnering with UNICEF in the context of the Country Programme 2016-2020.


  • At least 7 years of experience in non-profit and/or international development consulting, with a particular understanding of the Belarusian political and cultural context and inside knowledge of the Belarusian civil society;
  • Strong understanding of UNICEF results-based programming;
  • Strong strategic thinking with superb writing and communication skills;
  • Practical experience of capacity building activities in the non-profit environment.
