Digital Media & Content Creation National Consultant, Belarus

Duration: 11 months, September 2019 – July 2020, full-time.

Digital engagement plays an important role in UNICEF's response to global shifts in the fields of communication, fundraising, advocacy and development. Use of digital media platforms helps position UNICEF in Belarus as a knowledge leader, expands outreach and broadens engagement around children's rights.

In order to use digital communication platforms more effectively that will increase digital brand engagement UNICEF in Belarus would like to engage an individual consultant. 

Purpose and objectives: 

Under the guidance and supervision of the Communication Officer, the consultant will assist UNICEF Belarus Country Office in (1) development and production of multimedia content in order to increase reach & effectiveness of visibility materials, (2) web-related activities, including drafting materials for the website and social media outreach and (3) integrating digital into all aspects of implementation of the Country Communications Strategy in line with the Global Communication and Public Advocacy Strategy.


Proposal from candidates should include:

  1. A completed UN P-11 form;
  2. Cover letter;
  3. One non-academic writing sample in Russian and one in English (social media posts, human story or journalistic piece, etc);
  4. Two samples of graphics/images produced for social media in open source graphic design programmes, such as Canva;
  5. Financial Proposal, indicating desired daily and monthly rates.
